What a surprise?

Another wee note to keep everyone up to date as to what exactly is happening on the Wharves as well as creating a historical document. Big news in two ways. Last Wednesday David George, a BBC reporter for 'Spotlight' the regional programme for the South West of England phoned to find out about what was going on at the Wharves. I explained that we had only a very recently formed and were primarily interested in developing the existing community further to help expand current businesses. The information about the community had come from an anoynomous source. David came down to the Wharves to check them out and agreed that he would cover the story but would have to get permission to film form our landlord Mr. Munding. He agreed that he would confirm the filming on Monday and that the filming would commence on Wednesday.David confirmed that he would be coming to film on Wednesday this afternoon. Having spent the last few hours making calls to arrange setting up a nice little shoot fot 'Spotlight', David called me back. During our conversation he revealed that Mr. Munding had refused to allow the BBC to film and insisted that should the BBC wish to broadcast the story that they must speak to him first. Mr. Munding has provisionally agreed to meet with Mr. George on Tuesday of next week at 1.30pm at the Wharves. Watch this space......................
